May 2026 TMPPM Update for Immunosuppressive Drugs

On May 1, 2026, the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will update the “Immunosuppressive Drugs” section of the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual (TMPPM), Outpatient Drug Services Handbook to add Mycophenolate mofetil procedure code J7528.

Mycophenolate mofetil may be indicated for, but is not limited to, the prophylaxis of organ rejection in kidney, liver, and heart allogeneic transplants.
