Updated LTC R&S Reports Videos Now Available

Last updated on

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) has updated the Remittance and Status (R&S) Reports training videos on the TMHP YouTube channel.

TMHP R&S Reports Video Series

This training is a three-part video series for Long-term Care (LTC) providers and financial management services agencies (FMSAs) that focuses on understanding and using R&S Reports in TexMedConnect.

Through step-by-step demonstrations, users learn how to:

  • Access reports.
  • Interpret key sections.
  • Monitor claim activity.
  • Identify issues.
  • Support billing and reconciliation processes.

By the end of this series, users can navigate R&S Reports with confidence, improve their accuracy in claims follow-up, and make more informed operational decisions.

Updated Column Headers

TMHP has updated the training videos to reflect the following changes to the column headers on the Financial Summary, Pending Claims, and Non-Pending Claims pages of the TexMedConnect LTC Fee-for-Service (FFS) R&S Report:

  • “Warrant/Direct Deposit Number” is now “Warrant Number.”
  • “Warrant/Direct Deposit Date” is now “Warrant Issue Date.”
  • “Warr/DD No” is now “Warrant No.”
  • “Warr/DD Date” is now “Warrant Date.”

As noted in the article titled “Upcoming Updates to TedMexConnect LTC Fee-for-Service R&S Report Column Headers,” these updated headers more clearly describe the information that is displayed in the columns. This helps ensure that payment information matches across systems. Additionally, these new headers align with the Texas Comptroller’s website. Providers should experience fewer discrepancies when comparing R&S Reports to the Texas Comptroller’s data.
