OASIS for Clinicians Training Set for July

This webinar will provide foundational guidance on Section B: Hearing, Speech and Vision, and Section C: Cognitive Patterns of the OASIS-E2 Data Set including the general and item-specific guidance for Items B0200–B1300, C0200–C0500 and M1700–M1720.

This training is for registered nurses and physical, occupational and speech therapists that collect OASIS data.

It’s important for clinicians to accurately assess whether people can understand the basic health information needed to make appropriate health decisions. This training will cover the basic Brief Interview for Mental Status (BIMS) interview instructions that assess cognitive function, and the BIMS and Signs and Symptoms of Delirium from CAM.

Final Outcome and Assessment Information Set OASIS-E2 Manual (PDF) will be referenced during the webinar, so have the manual ready to use.
