Change in PDL Status for Hypoglycemics, Insulin, and Related Drug Class Effective July 29, 2026

Effective July 29, 2026, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has temporarily removed the nonpreferred status from generic Ritalin Long-Acting (LA) products on the Medicaid preferred drug list (PDL) because of a potential supply gap and backorder by Sandoz, the manufacturer.

The nonpreferred status has been removed from the following drugs:
