Members Sought for the Texas HIV Medication Advisory Committee

If you’re interested in issues related to Texas HIV medication, you may want to apply to be a member of the Texas HIV Medication Advisory Committee. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission executive commissioner will appoint members to the committee to serve a term expiring December 31, 2032.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m., August 31, 2026.

HHSC will review applicants’ qualifications, experience, and interest in serving on the council and seeks members who reflect the geographic diversity of Texas.

How to apply:

A committee member must regularly take part in committee meetings. They may also have to take part in subcommittee meetings or other related activities. Committee meetings are held about once every three months in Austin or at the call of the presiding officer. Meetings may be attended virtually via Microsoft Teams.
