About the Conference

The Cross Agency Employment Conference trains staff and stakeholders on how to support people with disabilities who are seeking employment.

More Information

This year's conference will feature presenters from across the nation, Texas Education Agency, and Texas Comptroller's Office.

The conference is open to agency staff, job seekers, providers, family members, and advocates who want to learn about:

  • National employment trends,
  • Employment First principles,
  • Texas ABLE accounts,
  • Vocational rehabilitation,
  • Person-centered planning, and
  • Strategies to support employment for people with disabilities.

ASL/CART services are available upon request. Email the conference team by Tuesday, November 10, to request these services.

HHSC has applied for three hours of continuing education units (CEUs) for the following professions: licensed social workers, licensed professional counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed psychologists, licensed psychological associates, licensed nursing facility administrators, nursing facility activity directors, qualified intellectual or developmental disability professionals, assisted living facility managers, certified nurse aides, home and community support services agencies, and day and activity health services.
