TULIP Changes Coming Soon

Last updated on

The Long-Term Care Regulation TULIP application process for Nursing Facilities (NFs), Medication Aides (MAs), and requests for an Expedited Life Safety Code (ELSC) Inspection for NFs is converting to a new format called Licensing, Permit, and Inspection (LPI).

LPI is a system that streamlines the process of submitting, reviewing, and issuing licenses, certificates, and permits making the application process more user friendly and intuitive. The format for external users will look and feel a little different, but the requirements to apply are similar.

Tentative dates for NFs and ELSC for NFs to transition to the new platform is Oct. 24. TULIP will shut down at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 and come back online at 7 a.m. Oct. 24. The tentative date for MA transition is Oct. 31. TULIP will shut down at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 and come back online at 7 a.m. Oct. 31.

More information is coming soon.
