Nurse Aide LPI and Fingerprints

Last updated on

The LTCR TULIP application process for Nurse Aides will tentatively be converted to a new format called Licensing, Permit, and Inspection (LPI), January 16, 2027. LPI is a system that streamlines the process of submitting, reviewing, and issuing licenses, certificates and permits making the application process more user friendly and intuitive for the user. The format for external users may look and feel a little different but the requirements to apply are similar.

Along with implementation of LPI, we will also implement required fingerprints for nurse aides tentatively, January 16, 2027. All nurse aide application processes for nurse aide certification or renewal completed in LPI will require a fingerprint. Please watch for monthly updates as we move through the implementation process.
