EVV Claim Units Matching Effective October 30, 2026 for In-Home Respite Services in CLASS and DBMD Programs

Last updated on

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) enabled Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) claims unit matching for in-home respite services in Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) and Deaf Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) programs effective Oct. 30, 2026.

Prior to Oct. 30, 2026, claims submitted for in-home respite services required that a matching EVV visit was accepted in the EVV Aggregator prior to submitting the claim but did not require the units on the EVV visit and the claim to match.

EVV claims, with dates of service of Oct. 30 and after, that do not have an exact EVV visit units match for the services below, will be denied payment and receive an EVV claims match result EVV06 code.
