This is an update to the article titled "SHARS Benefits to Change for Texas Medicaid October 1, 2022," which was published on this website August 12, 2022.

Implementation of audiology evaluation and management services provided to eligible students under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is still pending approval from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). After CMS approval is received, SHARS providers will be notified in a future article.
